iMovie 09 won't allow me to share

I have just finished a movie in iMovie 09 and would like to write it to disc. It seems iDvd under 'share' is what i need to do, however, the whole share menu is unavailable, i cannot click on anything in the share menu.....please help!

Save your project, close the program, then restart it and try. Also, try starting iDVD by itself to ensure it works.
