iMovie 9 stopped working

I've been using iMovie since it came out without any problems that I've not been able to resolve.
Today however, It Stopped Working.
When I add clips to the Project Library and run my mouse over it, neither the sound or the video screen works. If I run the mouse over any video in the Event Library nothing works there as well
Can anyone help, I use iMovie a lot and I've got lots to do in the next few weeks
