iMovie and/or FCE - - editing help

I have some sports clips that I would like to make black and white and then highlight certain areas/players in color. Is that possible with iMovie or I recently purchased FCE, but still learning the ropes with that. Appreciate any help. Thanks.
 
It should be possible with FCE, but I'm not sure how - still learning editing myself.
