iMovie and YouTube

After creating a video in imovie 11, I have to "export" to my hard drive before uploading to youtube. Most of my videos are over 1 to 2 hours in length, is there any quicker way of doing this? It take forever to "share" to my hard dive

Until you export, there is no output file to upload.

1 to 2 hours of video length is always going to take a lot of time to export in iMovie. Even the top end iMac would take a long time.

Most of my videos are over 1 to 2 hours in length

I take it that you don't have a "normal" Youtube account, as the limit is usually 20 minutes.
