I currently finished editing a short film on Imovie. I used both the audio tracks for sounds, sound effects, ambience and voice-overs. Most of the sounds are overlaying eachther on one track.
When I play it back on Imovie it sounds perfect and smooth. When I export the film into quicktime or IDVD or even back onto the camera all the sound clips that I had made either fade out or edited the volume jerk at the end of them from soft to loud.
