Hey everyone,

I make YouTube videos from time to time, and I use iMovie to edit them. I just tried to post a short video from iMovie into YouTube using the share tab in the upper right corner. It took a few minutes, which it usually does, but then I got an error message.

The message had the title "Daily Limit Exceeded" and the message read: "The request cannot be completed because you exceeded your getting-started quota"

Anyone know what this is? I was able to get around it by just saving the video file, and then uploading it manually, but is there some new feature in iMovie about upload limits that I'm unaware of?

Sorry if this is a silly question, but I've been wanting to get more into video editing, and this has me confused.

Thanks.

Apparently, it has something to do with YouTube's API version 3 (making too many API calls maybe?). Here's a fix for Kodi, see if it applies to iMovie in your case too.

Hey everyone, I didn't want to waste space by creating another thread, but I'm having another problem with iMovie unfortunately. Today, it won't open. It says it quit unexpectedly. When I click "reopen" in the error message, it just presents the error message again. I tried to go into the App Store and search iMovie and click "open" but that didn't work either. Is there any solutions for this? My laptop has been on for a while, about a week, so later when I'm not doing any work I'm going to restart it to see if that fixes the problem.
