Hello, I'm a little confused. You see, while working in iMovie I accidentally exported a movie when I wasn't finished with it, and I wasn't able to cancel the action. And now, since I'm not done with the project yet, I was wondering - can I, and if so, how, can I import it back into iMovie?

  • I am operating in iMovie '09
[*]I am not new to Macs - just the '09 applications
Your help is greatly appreciated!! 😀

P.S. If there are any other tips that may go along with this topic, they would also be appreciated!

When you export, the iMovie project should still be available for editing. Exporting just converts and or compresses the project into the desired format, but does not normally do anything to the project itself. You should still be able to open and edit the project without any issues.

The projects are usually located in the Movies folder under your Home area.

Hope that helps.
