While Pages, Numbers, Keynote, and GarageBand are all modern iPadOS apps with lots of features, iMovie for iPad hasn’t really changed much since its original release. It’s glitchy, antiquated, and not even half as capable as the desktop version. I was very surprised when I first opened iMovie on my new iPad Pro, as I was expecting it to have improved since the last time I used it years ago. Sadly, it’s a 2012 app at its core.
