Imovie HD Keeps on crashing

Well im trying to put a .mov file into imovie hd and when its trying to import it just crashes no matter how many times i try. Is there a reason why its doing this ive un-installed it and re-installed it and nothing!

Have you tried with another .mov video file? Maybe the file is bad?
If it still keeps crashing, maybe you need to reset imovie settings (deleting its preference file), you could make another user account and try if it crash on tgat fresh "test" users settings too...then you know if its the preferences or the files fault.

The preference file is located on your home directory: "Library/Preferences/com.apple.iMovie.plist" 🙂

ive tried other mov files and re set the settings so ill try a new account
