iMovie HD won't recognise my iSight (15" MBP 2010 model)

On my 2010 15" macbook pro, my iSight works perfectly on every application EXCEPT iMovie HD 6. iMovie just says that no camera is attached 🙁 Has anyone else had this problem and how can I fix it?
