iMovie is stuck!

I keep getting this error, and it won't close.

I need to make a video soon, and have no clue how to get rid of it. I tried making the file again with the same name, but when I search for it..it won't highlight any of the movies, and I tried importing it again, and it won't.

Please let me know

I would cancel around this message and then delete that event and recreate it.
