iMovie Ken Burns and Fade Effects?

Is it possible to have both Ken Burns effect and also Fade to Black or Fade to White on a picture in iMovie. I do not have my mac with me and I am deciding what program to use such as the version of imovie or a different program entirely.

Yep. Its even possible on the iMovie app for iOS

For some reason I remember having trouble doing that although I am not sure. This works on even older verions of iMovie such as th one from Mac OS X 10.7?
