iMovie problem

I have a device that records my games on my PS3. The PVR gives me the option to export it directly to iMovie among other things. however, this is what I got when I tried it. When I click on stuff it just gives me that bing.
(I'm new here, so sorry for my noobishness)

I quit it, let it sit for a while, opened it back up and it worked fine
