iMovie Problems

Hi, i'm using my friends Mac, and his iMovie is having problems

I'm using iMovie HD on Tiger, and i can't get audio nor can I add credits

Also, my friend is having trouble using it on his Leopard. Every time he loads a movie, it quits unexpectidly

Please help, I have limited time to get this done!
