iMovie producing tiny videos

I'm trying to join a load of small video clips in iMovie.

The final video is coming out tiny, why is this?

Is there another ios app for joining videos I can use. Quicktime always comes back with an error when I try to save joined videos. thanks

Which version of iMovie?

What's the resolution of the Exported/Shared video file? If not sure, open in Quicktime, and then open the Movie Inspector in QT's Window menu.

What resolution were you expecting?

What resolution did you choose in the Export/Share dialogue window?
