imovie question

when editing a recent movie, i ran the yellow line across the movie length. any idea of what it means? thanks.

I believe that that is a selection tool of sorts. Oh, I remember, those are crop markers to delete parts of the video... it won't do anything unless you go into the menus and select the crop button .
