😕 I am using ilife'11 and in imovie,I simply cannot figure out how to make a still photo from a video clip and send it to i photo (for editing or to email a single photo). The answer I got from another forum was to move the playhead to the frame I want, and at the top of the screen, select file...save frame. That option does not appear anywhere, and I wonder if they are using another version of i movie.

After spending half the day looking for a solution, it appears Apple left out the simple option in"11 that appeared in previous versions of imovie. It shouldn't be this difficult workaround.😡

Yes, that's from iMOvie6HD. You can add a freeze frame in iMovie11, but I can't find anyway of getting it out of iMovie. I think a screen shot maybe your best option.
