How do I get Imovie for my snow leopard? It was not in the install disk and I cant seem to find it to download.

Go to Apple store to see if they can install old version of iMovie for you at no extra charge.

It's available via the App Store(iMovie11), but you need at least Lion to download it. Badrottie's idea is probably best.

Imovie 11 is $16 to buy but it wont run on snow leopard. I cant seem to find an older version to buy. I have spent hours looking.

Do you still have the original discs that came with your machine? Disk 2 should have the iLife apps on it. If not, at this point your best bet may be to find a copy of the iLife '11 (or earlier) disc on eBay/Amazon/Craigslist/etc. Also try what Badrottie suggested, just don't be surprised if they try and get you to upgrade to a newer machine.
