iMovie08 Keeps Crashing

When i open iMovie 08 it keeps crashing when i open it,It opens my projects then the dreadful spinning rainbow thing starts spinning and bam its gone crashes I Have re-installed iMovie 08 through the iLife 08 Disk Deleated File com.apple.iAppz.plist what ever it is and even done the iMovie 08 Update 7.1 through software update.
What Do i do now?
 
I have the same problem!
When I open imovie it will give me the spinning beach ball, but if I let it load for about 10 mins it will start up correctly.
