imovies

Hi,
I've done this many times before in imovies, but for now it doesn't work.

I'm creating stills from my footage...Edit...Create still frame....and it creates a frame that appears half there.

No matter what I do, it will not give me a complete still shot.

Any ideas??

No,
I came off a Sony Handycam DVD, converted the files to DV using Drop DV, which I've successfully used many times before.

The Clips are fine. I just want to create some stills from the footage.

I don't know why it's giving me a garbled image.
