Same here. I'm getting < half day now. Have you had any success in pinpointing the issue? When I check settings > general > usage > battery usage , Mail is using 25% of battery - but I rarely use email at all. I suspect it's something to do with watch-phone-email.


I think this is a bug, where if you are not fetching or pushing email to the mail app on the iPhone, and you're asking the Apple Watch to do the fetching for you, it destroys the iPhone battery. But, if you set the iPhone to fetch mail every so often (I set it for one hour) that helps significantly.

I use outlook for iOS, not the stock mail app and turned off fetching. But, when I wanted to see it on Apple Watch it destroyed battery. Under the scheme described above, I'm not noticing any strange mail battery usage.
