Import Error/Unreadable Files

I can no longer import pics from Kodak Z710 to MacBook OS X 10.6.8 Tried importing them to old Toshiba & all went well. I just downloaded iphoto '11 hoping it might solve the problem. It didn't. Any suggestions appreciated!!!😕

Hi,

It seems that there are known issues with Kodak cameras and OS X. Try using a card reader instead of the cable. You may also have to reformat the memory card... After you have tried a card reader!
