I've been searching all night but can't seem to find the answer to this amateur question:
I am using a sony DCR as an in between from my VCR to my Imac to import old vhs tapes. I want to quickly import whole tapes into mp4 format for the small file size plus the the video quality doesn't need to be great.
Is there a program (free or not) that lets me import directly as mp4 as opposed to using iMovie and importing as DV and then having to "Share - export using quicktime" as an mp4 which takes forever?
