Important question before buying Imac

Hi,
I've seen a 2012 Imac 27 core i5 3.4 with gtx680mx on FutureShop for sale.

1er question : You can have a core i5 + a gtx680mx ? i thought only the i7 model had the gtx680mx .

Also on the Best Buy site (same compagny same model) it say the gtx680mx has only 1 gig...

I think its a mistake and in fact its a 2012 Imac Core i7 3,4 with the gtx680mx.

What do you think ?

Many here own the late 2012 with the i7/2GB 680MX
the 675MX is 1GB

If I remember correctly, the 680 was a BTO upgrade on the i7 and not the i5 in the US

French model, so it could be different from the US models

US models end with LL/A and this is C/A

Yhea, looks like a typo.
I guess its the core i7 + 680mx

Searched the number MD580C/A and it specs the same in a few places.

Best buy is the same as FutureShop.
Its the same compagny.
They both have the same model number.
I guess i can always return it if its not what was described on the spec.

I dont want the 675mx

Perhaps you should check the Apple Store refurbs - in that price range, you can buy a little above this model. Just a thought

I've just received my iMac27.
A brand new core i7 3.4 8 gig ram + gtx680mx and 1tb fusion drive for 1600 US (1800 can) at futureshop.ca
I think its a good deal even if its a 2012 the specs are really good.

There was an error in the description . Its an i7 not a i5 and it come with a fusion drive (not specified)

Its was around 400$ less than the refurbished model on the Canadian Apple site
