imported mbox not showing... (SOLVED)

i've imported an mbox from way back in the past (2015) into apple mail; i get the message "it's in the Import folder"... but there is no import folder. i've tried 3 times (i've done this without issue in the past).

any ideas, anyone? thanx, in advance...


SOLVED! damaged mbox, so copied from a backup, and that one worked.
