Hello, guys. I have a problem. I imported all my camera roll from my iPhone 5 to a folder on my Mac (where I have all my iPhone photo library since my 3GS).

The problem is: while importing photos to a folder from an iPhone 4S resulted in having the photos with effects on the computer, now I just have the raw pictures, without effects. It saved a .aae file with the picture, maybe it contains the metadata, but I would like to have the edited pictures, not the raws.

How can I fix this? Should I use iPhoto instead of importing them directly to a folder? I don't like iPhoto...

Thanks

Imported photos (from iPhone) are raw

New Photos app for Yosemite next year to support what you want.

Til then, Airdrop the edited photos to your mac
Or upload the edited photos to dropbox/onedrive/whatever and they'll sync back down

So neither iPhoto imports the pictures with effects?

And why did the iPhone 4S worked?

I imported them in iPhoto and they mantained their effects. I especially care about crop.
