OK, I got a new PC. I exported my Itunes folders to a thumb drive. When I try to import the library I get the following message:

The library cannot be imported because the export was not valid.

the files are all there are .itl files and I can listen to them thru the pc

Anybody help??

(1) Make sure that iTunes is set up to copy all the music (mp3 and other) files into the library. Then (2) copy the entire Music folder to the other computer.

As a test after you copy the music library to the thumb drive you should be able to tell iTunes to use the library on the thmb drive Try it. My gues it that you did not do #1 above.
