OK, bear with me. I'm new to Mac and iTunes so I'm totally lost.

I have an ext HD with a large library of stuff someone gave me. All from their ipod/itunes library. I can find it on my ext HD through iTunes and I can import one song at a time, but shouldn't there be a way to move the whole library in - or is that a bad idea for some reason.

This library doesn't seem to be very well organized - but who am I to say at this point.

Any tips on getting started would be appreciated.

Thanks

TL

Ok, there are a couple of things you can do, you could find the music in finder and then select all the music you want (can be folders) and just drag them into itunes on the left hand column under library(there should be a plus sign). Another thing that you can do (might be a lot easier) is go up to file and click import folder to library, then you can just select the folder(s) and click ok
