It depends on what you wanna do with the picture.
If you just want to have it as a still, then the resolution of your project/sequence settings will suffice, but if you wanna move the "camera" around the drawing you need a bigger resolution than your project.
For example, you have a DV PAL setting, you export your image as .tiff or .tga in 720x576 resolution and with a pixel aspect of 1.09 (when in 4:3) or 1.46 (when 16:9) when you just want to have a still image.
Also take into account, that you .eps will converted into a pixel image, and not stay as a vector art as it is.
