Impossible to install Flash Player on Mavericks?

I haven't been able to install it successfully - tried over 40 times 🙁 It always gets to 40 or 80 percent, stalls, then goes directly to 100 and says success.

I installed Mavericks over Mountain Lion. I think, that is the reason why it works for me.

Just goto the Adobe Flash site and manually select to Install a different version of Adobe Flash Player from the menu here.

Seems that the automatic selection that Adobe gives you is only about 7mb and the manually selected version is 17mb.

Flash - blocked plugin error - wasn't working for me now it is.

it looks like 10.9 is saying any version of flash player 10 is out of date. You want flash player 11

Finally made it!

Reading the flash player installation troubleshoot I decided to uninstall the older version and everything worked as expected after that.
