Impressed with Orange UK unlocking

@jrmerchant - Sounds like your in a similar situation to I was. I had to get hold of a new orange pay and go sim, register it with the iPhone and then wait the 3-months to do the unlock. Its the only way unfortunately.

i have got an orange payg sim just need to top it up by £5 u mean
and how do i register it with the iphone??
please advise. sorry to be a pain.

edit: can i register my monthly sim only contract to it?? how does one register the sim to the phone??
am lost here.

I think just ring them up and register the SIM, then once that's done you should be able to request an unlock for the iPhone using the telephone number of that SIM card once 3-months have past.
