In-app ratings & reviews in app store keeps turning on

Hi all, just going through my new m1 macbook set up, have noticed a glitch, in the app store i have disabled the setting (unticked) in app ratings and reviews. When restarting the mac however it's always ticked and i sometimes get asked to leave reviews.

Can someone check their system and see if it is indeed a bug or something i am doing wrong?

Yes, I was able to reproduce that. I prefer to have it off too. I checked the setting and it was off, restarted, checked again, and it was enabled.
