In-Camera Filters for 4S Actually Working?

I know the charts and reports say that the 4S will not support live in-camera filter effects in iOS7, but....I have no problem selecting a filter and using it in real time while I take a shot on my 4S....is this not what they're talking about?

As you can see in the screen grab, the filter is activated and I'm able to shoot this way...what gives?

This was added in beta 2 a few months ago.

ahhh, ok....the Apple compatibility charts people are still releasing (even today) still show that as not a feature for the 4S. thanks!

Found this thread because the live filter view does not appear to be present on my iPad mini 🙁
