tbh i didnt want to spend more than £30 uk money since its just for the gym...

I will be buying seperate earphones for my new iphone though...

are the jaybirds any good?

I love my jaybird bluebuds x. I had the freedom before and liked them too though compared to the new bluebuds x, they're huge! the best part is that they're wireless!!! no problems pairing with my iPhone 5 in the gym or running. love love love them!

Here's my reply in another best headphones for the gym thread:

What I use:

Running: Sennheiser PMX680i. Current version is PMX685i. They don't block ambient sounds, important for outdoor running (I only do treadmills if there's black ice or lightning) Importantly, these let the sweat out of my ears. They are wired, not bluetooth, but I run with an old 4th gen nano and leave my phone behind intentionally.

Gym/Other: Plantronics Backbeat GO 2 bluetooth headphones.

I've never bought a pair of expensive headphones so I don't have that to compare them to, but they're far better quality than the Apple earbuds. You can actually hear the bass on them.

i wanted something a little more expensive tbh....

those earphones you recommended Havant got great reviews....
do you have any other earphones you recommend>

I hadn't realized Jaybird had a new in-ear on the market. Those look NICE. I used my freedoms on a daily. Only drawbacks are call quality, and it affected the other person, not me. I had to stop using them when I got my i5. the bluetooth sync button got destroyed at some-point, and they are locked to my sons i4.

Anybody got hands-on with the bluebuds X?

Another poster above you has and the reviews web wide seem pretty positive.

Yea, I've read/watched all the reviews. I just like to crowd source my info as much as possible. seems a bit more believable. Thanks though man.

Also, because I'm an idiot, my freedoms are not broken, and I just don't know how to sync them.

Still looking at those Bluebuds.....

BlueBud X vs. Freedom

Is there a big performance difference? I own the freedoms, and don't really have a reason to upgrade, but I'm thinking about it anyway.

Is it purely size? or is there a noticeable audio boost as well? are the Bluebuds more comfortable/snug?
