I think MX 900 BT works well with Mac, even though Logitech does not support Mac platform for that unit. But, I wish this BT mouse has better battery as it gets drained faster than my MX 1000.

For desktop or notebook purched on desktop most of the time, the wired or RF mouse (such as MX1000) are okay. But, for a protable computer you move it from one place to another, the BT keyboard and mouse are very convenient as you don't need to plug and unplug each time you move.

When I first got my PB I bought the MS BT mouse, which works fine with it, but seems heavy and doesn't have an on/off switch. I just bought a Macally micro BT mouse, which I'm charging up now in the supplied charger and I'll be trying that out tomorrow. I'm hoping it will be better for when I take the PB out on the road, as it's smaller and lighter and has the on/off switch. For some reason it bothers me to be carrying around the MS BT mouse still very much "on" when it is in my bag.

What I *really* want, of course, just like everybody else here, is for Apple to hurry up and produce a BT version of the Mighty Mouse..... I love the wired MM I've got connected to my iMac. A recent switcher from Windoze, I gotta have a way to right-click and a scroller! LOL! I don't mind having a wired mouse and keyboard with the iMac right now, since it's a desktop machine, although I've been spoiled by having a wireless setup on my old PC, but having a wired mouse with the PB just didn't cut the mustard. However, as soon as Apple comes out with a BT MM to accompany its wireless keyboard, then I'll be getting a set for my iMac and then getting the BT MM for my PB.

I would recommend the Macally BT Micro; it's a great mouse, but it does have one flaw: it has a tendency towards high sensitivity, so you have to turn it down kinda low.

Thanks for this heads-up; tomorrow when I install my new one on my PB I'll be sure to turn it down rather than be frustrated from the get-go at the sensitivity of it. Good to know!

I have the MX900 and it is the best mouse I have ever had. I only wish it had an on/off switch to cut down on batteries but it does flash a red light on top when it is running low and you can put it in the base station to charge. Its too bad Logitech discontinued it. They did add a laptop mouse with bluetooth, the V270. Unfortunately, although it comes with an on/off switch it doesn't look like it has as good of ergonomics or as many buttons as the MX900 had...very sad. BTW I have a Apple Bluetooth mouse that sits in the drawer because it just isn't comfortable to my hand. But I guess ergonomics are different for everyone.
