In Appleworks, there is a "Convert To Table" in the "Table" menu. For those unfamiliar with the function, it converts the selected text into a table. It actually works fairly well.
I've looked and searched (here, Google, Apple Knowledge Base, Pages help) and I cannot find the equivalent function in Pages. I had to create the initial document in Appleworks and then convert it to a Pages document. The process went well, but I'd like to be able to do everything in Pages. So, does anyone know how to do this in Pages?
I would like to add that this is the first AppleWorks Word Processing feature that I've noticed missing since I'v been using Pages.
