In Safari on the iPhone has... always been there.

    has history, bookmarks bar and bookmarks menu always been there, because i just restored my phone as a new iphone and im wondering if that was never there before! thanks!

    ok thanks for some reason. i thought i only remember seeing my bookmarks that i had saved and not those other sections. lol idk how i didn't notice the history tab, bookmark menu and bookmark bar.

    History has always been there, "Bookmarks Bar" and "Bookmarks Menu" will have synced from your Safari bookmarks so if you haven't synced bookmarks before you might not have had those in the past.

    i tried checking off sync, but they are still there. i thought the person above said everyone had them. is there a way to remove them?

    They're part of the bookmark folder structure so if you want to sync then you'll have to put up with them.

    i dont want to sync. i didn't mean to sync with my bookmarks. thats why im saying i want to get rid of them.

    In Safari, go to your Bookmarks. Hit "Edit" and delete those folders

    i tried that, but it doesn't let me delete it.

    There should be an option to turn off bookmark syncing in iTunes.
