BELKIN Ultra Glass 2 is a superior screen protector. No bubbles or scratches
Warranted if screen protector cracks or starts to lift off
This product is different than the one with the tray sold in Apple stores

So the one Apple installs, Belkin will send a replacement if it cracks or lifts up? It's under warranty? How is the edge coverage typically?

Also, does anyone know if the new Belkin installed by Apple for the 17 Pro Max is Anti-Glare?

I picked up the phone this morning and got the Belkin screen protector installed at the same time. It’s not anti-reflective, but it doesn’t bother me.

The only Belkin screen protector that the Apple Store is selling (whether with a self-applicator box or a machine-applicator kit in the Apple Store) is the Belkin UltraGlass2. There is no privacy screen protector or no matte anti-glare one this year. The Belkin official website does list other models, but those are not sold at the Apple Store. The iPhone Air this year does not have any screen protectors sold at the Apple Store. The iPhone 17 uses the Belkin iPhone 16 screen protectors.

Had it installed today. Excellent experience. It looks like a factory feature because it is installed so well. And the warranty means whenever it cracks or chips, they will send you a new one and you can bring that to any Apple Store to have it installed at no additional charge. People have done this multiple times on a single purchase.

Ironically, the glass on the new iPhone 17 Pros is the most durable part of the phone.

Yes but it is exposed. I looked at the glass on the 15 Pro I traded in and it had a ton of scratches. The body was perfect because it was cased (even though I dropped it several times).

My 17 Pro will also have a perfect body when I trade it in. Aluminum is less strong than steel or titanium, but it is strong enough. Before the stainless steel iPhones, they used to be aluminum. I never had damage on an Aluminum phone other than glass.

Got mine applied on Saturday :) once again completely satisfied. Went home and removed the cracked one from my 16PM for trade in… cracking that thing to bits with my hands was so satisfying 😂

Looks like the Apple Store is not selling the Privacy or the Matte Plastic screen protectors for the iPhone 17 Pro Max at least. The iPhone 17 standard screen protectors are the one they used for the iPhone 16. Andthe Apple Store is currently not selling any screen protectors for the iPhone Air. Not sure if that will change...
