Anyone know what MBP configuratinos Apple carries in store in the UK ? Do they carry a 16GB RAM, 512Gb SSD model ?

Yes I know I can call them. But a) it is 1am and b) I don't want to hold for 20mins. Its is a 2hr drive to nearest store.
 
For you to be 2hrs from an Apple store in the UK I'm going to assume you aren't near any of the major cities so I would assume any stock will be store-specific i.e. you will need to ring to confirm, I'd only expect full stock range in London and possible Manchester and Birmingham TBH...
