Could it be that like the preorders of the iPhones they are coming directly from Shanghai, China. I'm thinking overnight would be tough!

yes apparently it is from shanghai. i've got fedex tracking already, and apple did choose the fastest international shipping.

but, this on the other hand, indicates that apple is not 'ready' for the launch. there must be a production issue, so they can only ship a very limited quantity to us ahead just for display. since normally if they have 1 whole month preparation time, they should be able to ship supplies to US and other countries ahead. it saves time and money.

Anyone who has been paying attention to Apple news for the last month already knew this. Quanta really dropped the ball on the Watch and the MacBook supply for launch. Thats why Im surprised so many here were shocked none were in store yesterday. Guess people don't follow Apple news.

Ah so Apple is going to have a conga line of Jumbo Jets from China again. a repeat of the iPhone 6/6 P launch from last year!
