iPhone 12 In Store Pickup Data Transfer

When I go to pick up the 12 mini, will they let me transfer data from the 12 that I’m returning? AFAIK the transfer takes approx. 20mins.
 
Depends on where you are. Here in the UK they wouldn't want you to as they have a limit to how many customers can be in-store at a time.

You have a backup of the phone, right? If not, then the data isn't important anyway.
