what do people think will apple be doing in so many years time?

my idea is:

a media player
mp3
video
photos
possibly gaming
small pda functions
maybe small wireless instant messaging functions

it would be pretty much a mini media hub

what do other people think?

hmmmm yeah i supose it does a bit
but it would be different (and mobiles arnt very good at doing all those stuff)

I think in general Apple will be a leader in wearable computers as they become mainstream, so the iPod won't really exist anymore. I think a large segment of users will quickly adopt a glasses-based display that incorporates PDA functions, cell phone, music, camera, movies, pretty much everything. I don't think it will edge out kiosk-type computers like desktops, because you'll still want a big, crisp display for sit-down work. Conceptually, having a separate device for music play is a bit silly, when we already carry a microprocessor and data storage in our phones and PDAs. Once these devices match the ease-of-use and speed of iPods, there won't be a point.
