I use itunes and airport express to play my music throughout my home. the problem starts though once the computer is inactive for 15 mintues then the computer logs out and the music stops. how can I prevent the computer from logging out and becoming inactive thus "the music stops".

Hmm, never heard of that. What are your energy savings settings at? Is this your computer or a computer thats owned and configured by a university? Does this only happen when your computer is using iTunes? What OS are you running? Leopard?
new macpro from bestbuy. i used max settings to not shut the computer off. I dont think it is an itunes thing. I would like to play itunes without the computer going to sleep. I thought by maximizing the settings, this would not occur. Suggestions?
