    Hi Guys,

I'm new here, and recently bought the Inateck KTU3FR-502I for my Mac Pro (mid 2010).

Unfortunately, it's not reading any USB devices I plug into it (even a mouse, though I'm primarily going to use it for transporting video/audio from externals/card readers), even though the system report lists it as recognized. I've attached the screenshots below.

Now, I should mention it's not connect to power, which from the research I've done was deemed unnecessary. Could this be the problem though? If so, are there any cables I need beyond what was provided with the product? Also, any tutorials? I've never installed anything I had to connect to power before, so this is all foreign to me.

Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Most likely the power cable is required. The Mac Pro version is KT4004, this one don't need the cable.

Ah okay, thanks for the reply! I think I'm just gonna return it and get the KT4004.
