When the iphone is inserted into the power slider case the signal level drops to zero. As soon as it is removed I have maximum signal. Spoke to InCase and they have found this to be a problem on some phones (or cases) they are researching. Offered to send me a new case to see if that will resolve the problem.

Me too! I can not make one call without having the reception drop. 🙁
I will try to go case-less and see if reception improves. I really like the fact that the case extends my battery way beyond a day on a single charge, but the shoddy reception is not acceptable. I may have to contact incase if this situation persists.

I returned mine due to this and it also gave me the missing sim message 5 times in 2 days that I had it. I put it back in my switcheasy case and naked and it didnt do it once for about a week. I was dissapointed because I liked the case.

Incase power slider case dropping reception
I just bought the incase power slider case for my iphone 3g from Bestbuy today, I like it but as soon as I put the case on the phone the bars or reception drop off. I called Incase, they said to return it for another one! Hope the new one works!!
