Just found this! It looks like a really good case but the best part is that it gives you over double the capacity of the iPhones battery life. I know there was another case like this but it was way too unattractive compared to this one!

Some crucial details!:

Additional battery life provided by Power Slider

Standby time: up to 330 hours
Audio playback: up to 26 hours
Talk time: up to 5 hours on 3G network and 10 hours on 2G network
Video playback: up to 7 hours
Internet use: up to 5 hours on 3G network and 6 hours on Wi-Fi

Capacity equals approximately 120 percent of iPhone 3G
5 light LED battery status indicator

It will go on sale next week <November 28th> and will set you back $99.95 but I think it will be worth it. Doesn't add an insane amount of bulk and really has everything a "real" battery pack should have!

What do you guys think?
 
I was just about to post this, haha! This looks to be exactly what I need when I go biking.
 
It's a good attempt.. however doesn't apple warn against charging your phone with a case on? :confused:
 
Why can't someone just invent a device that feeds off our own body. I mean we do generate electricity right? Take it a step further and feed off our body. :p
 
it's a nice concept but i wouldn't actually use this... ever. it's not too attractive.
 
I will consider getting this case..
However, first will it fit over my zagg Invisible shield?

Also I don't think I shall use it as an everyday case due to the extra bulk, as I find the batterry life generally fairly good for everyday use.

However, on trips with business or festivals it would be great! Great added feature with the mec-esque battery lighting
 
with it being as thick as it is, seems like they could have fit an led flash light on it to use with the camera. maybe even an optional zoom lens that you could slide in and out of it.

Does anyone have it yet? Or plan on getting it? I'd love to see a review and/or pictures of this case. It looks big, but I think it might not look that bad, especially for a person who needs it.
 
I just bought the regular black slider on wednesday. If this came out today, I may just return the slider and pick this up. I like the idea of an all in one case/ battery. Carrying an external battery sounds too inconvenient; don't like the idea of carrying extra gear because now you gotta figure out where you put it and hope it doesn't get lost.

The case fits pretty tight, I know as I just bought one. My experience with the Zagg on my BB8830 is that sliding a case over the shield will cause it to peel. The Zagg is tough, but the seam ends can't take the friction over time.

How do you like it? Is it too bulky or tall? I think its a cool idea if you go through your battery in anything less than 16 hours (1 day for most people).

I just got the iPhone today, and the case along with it. It is bulky enough I won't be sticking in my pants pocket unless they are cargo pants ;) There is no question that the extra power will come in handy. It seems like it will be highly protective, but I did add a screen protector. The extra battery power will sort of ween me off my BB8830's long legs battery. For daily carry I might have to find a slimmer case with no battery. I am going to check out that Ivyskin Quattro with glass screen. But I am keeping the incase.

If you can stand to feel a little less protected I would go with the Incase regular slider or the Power Support Air Jacket or Crystal Jacket, they are all sleek and real nice looking and minimalist at the same time. They kind of stay out of your way when it comes to the feel of the phone.

Yes, my co-worker has the regular slider. He likes it, and it does fit in his pocket. Other than the reserver power, I just wanted to say my iPod is bigger than yours when we link up on Monday ;)

Now that is actually a great idea that is functional!
 
I ordered this yesterday (early this morning) from the Apple Store... I can't wait for to get it. I pondered the purchase all day before pulling the trigger at about 2 am. For what I want it for it should be perfect... and for the days I do not need extra battery life, I will use the Vaja Black 'n Red.
