Hello :apple: Enthusiast -
I purchased a black incase protective cover on iDay (first day of iPhone introduced). After about 2-3 weeks of use, The protective cover became stretched and loose over time. A history on it, I took off the cover maybe once before to clean the phone within my usage of the cover. When I took it off one day, I noticed it had SCRATCHED my chrome bezel like no tomorrow! I guess dust and pocket dirt gets stuck in the rubber and it moves/rubs around causing it to scratch.

Ever since that incident in the summer, I never used the case again. Upon recently I was searching the www.goincase.com and saw a section on warranty. I filled out a claim, took a picture, and received an email within one week. I got to choose any colour I wanted as well!
Let me tell you, the generation 2 protect. cover is made of SO MUCH MORE BETTER QUALITY than the gen. 1. The case is a bit smaller to put on the phone and it is made really hard! Meaning the corners on this thing are thick and not flimsy at all. If you iPhone users are interested in a grippy case, than I'd definitely purchase one of these covers as it is made much better quality.
Great company with great customer service. I'd definitely buy from them again!

Oh and the olive colour is truly sexy!@ I'm taking it camping/fishing next week!

I agree 100% I also bought the black incase protective cover on IDay (my wife got the Red one) and we ended up returning ours cause of the scratches!! turned out my iphone had dead pixels and I got a new one and without any scratches, any way a few months later and trying every case I came across without satisfaction I tried the Green Olive color of the incase, seeing that it was obviously made different from the 1st generation - and that case is currently on my Iphone - I love it and am probably the most anal retentive about my iphone cases - this is the only case that has satisfied me!

have you seen any scratches with the new one yet?

i disagree. i had a 1st gen case and it stretched horribly. a few months later, i requested a warranty exchange and received what looked to be the 2nd gen version (see pics of both in the review on my site). the 2nd one still stretched out like the first one, though it seemed maybe a bit slower to do so. i really liked the case otherwise, but i can't justify the price for something that's not so robust...

I haven't seen any scratches yet because I laced the crome bezel with tape to avoid scratches cause I am too Anal about my Iphone - I think it is cause I payed $599 for it and now I could go get two for that price.

Why is this thread turning into another Slider vs. Protective cover we have enough of those.

As far as streaching I have had the case for about 2 months and the only streatching is from when I put the iphone in the case wrong! Try not to pull the rim of the case out farther than you have to to slide the phone in.
