Incipio Atlas Waterproof Case

I agree. Pointless purchase. The new iphone will be out soon after. No sense in blowing $80 for only a couple months.
If history is any indication, any case that fits the iPhone 5 will also fit the iPhone 5s.
Not to mention people like me who only upgrade every 2 years...
I'm going to have and try one of these also. I'm going to need $500. for new cases in Feb.
That's really sad.
Well if it is by some chance different then people would have it for only a few months and then be useless. Just don't see why the long delay.

looks like all they have is the black? or maybe it's grey? either way it only appears as though they have one case
I ended up not pre-ordering the case. Holding back for now until I see reviews.
The fact it's shipping in early April can mean it could get delayed. Not to mention there may be other colors available on release day.
Verizon stores may have them too so I'll wait for now.

Actually says ships in 4-5 weeks which would put it around mid to late April. Ahh, I want to try this case but don't know why they are taking soooo long to get it out. I may get it anyways though because IF I do upgrade, my wife will take my iPhone 5 anyways and she has to have a good everything proof case with our kids.
Agree, I dont understand why they are taking preorders a month in advance, if it's not ready don't take preorders.
Also, just so you all are aware, Incipio is offering that buy any case get a free green Feather for the iphone 5 deal. It does work with the Atlas pre-order. So if you pre-order, you get the free feather case as well as the free t-shirt. Not too bad. I think I am doing it. I know the next iphone will be out soon, but like I said, my wife always takes my hand me downs when I upgrade so I will still have the phone and if I cannot use this case with my new phone, she will still be able to use it. I hope that this will be the one when it comes to the everything proof cases.
I was up at 3:00am and was going to order the black/blue one but they are only offering the ugly ass gray one for pre-order with a 4-5 week ship time.
They are pulling an Otterbox, try to dump the crappy colors first before offering the decent ones.
The 4 colors they show on the Atlas page all suck. Where are the nice looking normal color combos shown in all their videos, the black/gray, white/gray, pink/gray ?
I have a feeling this case is going to be plagued with oil slicks like no tomorrow.
Why do you think in all their videos the Atlas case is always shown face down? They are afraid to show the "Tempered Glass" oil slicks on the front.
The first installation video with the white case clearly has a huge oil slick under the glass. I posted a comment about the oil slick on that Youtube video a it was quickly removed.
Also why do you think this case is soooooo late to the market, can we say Lifeproof all over again?
I had high hopes for this case but after their lame ass pre-order last night my hopes are in the crapper.

I am not sure. I agree with you that the potential is there of course, just as it is with all cases with a built-in screen protector. I am actually thinking that this may be the reason for the delay. But, I would rather the delay than they push a product out that has not been tested yet and let the people trouble shoot for them (like LifeProof). I am hopeful that this case will be a good one. As to the color, I actually like the dark grey with the black that they have now. Of course, that won't be for everyone. I like the black and blue one as well, but if I pass this on to my wife, I know she won't care for it. All personal preference. Like I mentioned above, if you pre-order, you do get the free green feather case as well right now so that is cool.
Also, one sure fire way to cure oilslicks, use a anti-glare screen protector on the iphone's screen. Works every time.
Whoa, you can already no longer pre-order. Now the ship time is out to 5-6 weeks as well. Pre-order option is gone right now. Glad I got my order in I guess.
I'm sure they took your money right away though.

Yes, I did order the grey one, and yeah I see you can preorder it again. For a while there it was not showing the option to pre-order on my browser. But the time did change from 4-5 weeks to 5-6 weeks for shipping.
right on the preorder, they had the 4 that they had up when they redid their site.

I'm just gonna wait and see if they make it to stores since verizon is supposed to get it first, may just go check it out when they get them
Just Pre-ordered my case now the 5 week wait commences. Also getting a free tshirt and free incipio green feather case, which will be sold to the highest bidder. <----- that free case is like having a coupon code IMO, cause ill be getting money back.
