Me too,

Had the Lexington ordered but cancelled when I saw this comming out. My only concern is a report of the hinge being iffy and the price in the UK is currently closed to 80USD which is way OTT.

Hoping it will come down once it is available since this was on Amazon and the US Amzon price is 45USD (but wont ship to UK)

Just an update on this case...after using it for business this weekend, I am sold on this unit. it gets looks, has the best protection I have had yet and offers great positions for the pad. If the alum hinge holds out and once you master how it sets up, it beats the other 15 cases I own for every situation I can put the pad in; business, travel, personal and home....a winner here.

How many angle can it be use? Do you have any 360 case?

Flagship Folio on Amazon

Thanks for the reviews. This does look like a good case for business use. I saw it pretty cheap from various sources on Amazon, but I was wondering if there might be more than one version of the case. Anyone hear of early versions having any problems (like magnet location problems?)

came out after the mag discovery - all of them work

Have just ordered the Blue Lexington, cant justify the £60 price tag (actually 96 USD) price tag of the Flagship!

Suspect it wont have working magnet as it is already in stock at Amazon but at least I will get to try it out and send back if thats the case. Maybe by then the price will come down.

C'mon now, doesn't anyone else have some information on this case? One picture, that's it? Please, if you have experience with this case, give us something to consider! I'm down to the Speck Magfolio, Seidio Active, and this one. Thanks in advance for anyone willing to respond.

Still very happy with this case...my "daily driver"

Not worth the effort, it just folds flat, pure and simple, easy to grab.

Hey, I'm finding that the inner cover material is leaving dyed lines on my SGP UO. Are you using a screen Protector? Do you see dyed lines?

I've decided to sideline it an to send it to my bro & his wife. One of them will ise it im sure. I didnt like the case very much.

I just got it :) overall quality is good, the look is nice but it's heavy. I using iPad on the bed and bus a lot so I'll add more review comparing to my 360 case.

  • The aluminum hinge system is not as good as I hope for... I thought it going to be stiff hinge. So not sure how long it will last (the moving parts of the hinge feel weak).

  • The book mode is ok, because the case is slim but if you got big hands maybe the hinge and the clip closure will get in the way depend on how you hold the book.

  • The standing view mode is nice with many angles. on the table is very good, on the bed is fine but when using on the lap its dock are not grip and deep enough :( but because of the clip closure it stop the iPad from slip off and can achieve 2 view angle.
  • The clip closure is hard to open but maybe because of the case is still new and when it close the case feel really good.

I give 8/10 :D

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question in regards to this product, but i'm in the market for a case for my 1st iPad(2nd gen) and was wondering if this case would work with it. Folios website did not mention anything about the two but thought the 2/3 did not differ much in size/weight so I thought I would ask. Thanks!

maybe go to their facebook page and ask them

I find the backing faux fiber can peel easily from the main casing due to normal wear. Also the hinge is a little wobbly.

I just got to put mine on and I already love it. First thing I would like to note is that the weight problems, in my opinion, are blown way out of proportion. I had been using a Targus Truss case for the past week and a half and the Flagship Folio is nowhere near as heavy as that case made my new iPad feel. The INcipio is also much thinner, making it feel like I'm not carrying around huge tablet like the HP tx1000 I used to have. A few other things I like about this one from first impressions are the look. Being a car guy, the carbon fiber finish is something I really like, and I think the aluminum hinge seems pretty solid. I know it was mentioned in some review that it was loose, but do you really want a stiff hinge when your trying to adjust viewing angle for a video? The ridges in the cover are what keep your iPad in place, and they seem to do a find job at it. And although it's a small thing, it's nice having the magnets to turn the screen on and off, and the clip integrated into the case keeps the part that covers the screen from flipping over and leaving the iPad vulnerable. This most likely will be what I'll use (I ordered a cheap tan smart cover off eBay to use with my dad's Belkin SnapShield since he wants my Targus case) so I'll see how this one holds up, especially since I'll probably be bringing this to my college classes about the same amount as my MacBook Pro when classes start again in the fall.

I'm going on about 60 days and have no peel, no weight problem or hinge looseness... I like the case for day to day use.

looks high quality but a bit bulky for my taste. btw, would cases made for iPad 3 work for iPad 2 as well? and vice versa? I've seen the new iPad 3 and couldn't tell the difference between the sizes..
