Uh... Im talking about the first pic with the case on... Cases are messing up the flash... if you havent noticed...
Yes I've noticed; I think the pictures are one with the flash off and one with the flash on, not one with the case on and one with it off. The OP will have to clarify.

Oh.... why would he take a picture with flash off and flash on lol. Everyone was asking with the case on and case off (Both with flash) :p

I know but I don't think that the case could affect the picture that strongly. For the other case suffering from case/flash interference the issue was glare coming off the edge of the case opening for the flash, which is why coloring the opening black with a sharpie helps. Since this case is black I don't see it having a significant impact.

Thats what i thought but the guy with the candyshell case said that he has the exact same problem (And the candyshell is dark purple)

The CandyShell really isn't that dark of a shade of purple, and if you look at the pictures in that thread the flash appears to have an effect, it's just that the pictures have a purple cast. The picture posted here just looks dark to me which is why I think it's a no-flash picture. We'll just have to wait for the OP to get back online.

OK, I have taken pictures with and without the case that invoked the flash. I took two pictures of each to have a larger sample size because I have noticed that the brightness of the picture does vary sometimes from picture to picture, even if you wait a few seconds in between. The first two should be the ones without the case.

I don't notice any huge difference in the flash pictures when having the case on and when having it off, but you can take a look make your own judgment.

Doesnt look any different to me... well except that little... black thing in the bottom left corner lol tho that might just be the wallpaper

The NGP Matte is the case I got for free from AT&T since they kept screwing up my sim transfer. I fell in love with this case. It's rigid, yet there is some flex to it. It won't ever stretch out and create any sagging, I've put it on and taken it off dozens of times.

It's thin, protective from drops and placing the phone face down, minimal logo barely noticeable, and best yet, I can lay it in a pile of lint and it won't attract a single piece, like every silicone case I've ever seen.

Highly recommended, as this is my case of choice until Switcheasy gets me their selection to review.

The black thing in the corner is a dresser, so you can just ignore that when comparing the pictures.

Pardon the brain fart. The case does not affect the flash because of its matte finish. A case like the Candyshell may because its extremely glossy, and even the tiny walls of the narrow rear cutout could be reflecting the flash back into the path of the lens in unplanned ways. I'm fairly certain the NGP is not doing this in the slightest. Sorry my pictures didn't illustrate that.

I sent an email to incipio regarding the blemish on my case. I'll let you know what they tell me.

Looks like a really good case :) I found the like... generic version on ebay, a pack of 3 for 5.99 free shipping lol

I couldn't care less about the word Incipio branded on the back. Though I would be a little surprised if your cases fit this precisely, you'll have several color options, which is cool. I always enjoyed corresponding my different cases with wallpapers and stuff. (Lame?) Most importantly, though, your phone is protected, and 3 for $5.99 is tough to beat. Maybe let us know how it works out?

Please do. Though I'm rooting for you, I can easily imagine any of the following:

"The imperfections in your case are caused by part of the manufacturing process where a piece of equipment/material attaches to the molded case to pull it out of a larger piece of TPU material. We can offer you a replacement, but can't guarantee it will be completely free from similar imperfections."

OR the same thing, but "We can't offer you a replacement because we can't guarantee..."

OR "Sure, here's two replacement cases and a free white iPhone 4 for your trouble."

Ideally, it'll be that last one. Let us know -- I'm curious. Like I said, all three NGP's at my AT&T store were like mine. On a related note, AT&T's 30 day return policy would permit you to do an exchange if the case isn't scuffed up and you have the packaging. I would bet they'll have more within 30 days. What do you think?

Thanks for the review. I've been using this case for a few days now and it feels really great. Although it does add some noticeable bulk to the phone, I feel that it will protect it very well.

How much bulk does it add? Would it easily fit in a pocket? I really wanted to get the Feather, but seeing as I'm pretty clumsy I think I need a little bit more protection, but I still want the phone to be relatively thin.

i would say that it makes the overall size of the phone + case equal to a naked iphone 3gs (i compared it side by side with my 3gs). It still fits easily in my pocket and still relatively thin. From all the pics I've seen, it looks the same from the side as an iPhone 4 with the bumper case.

It does affect flash

Bought this case tonight from AT&T. I'm seeing a pretty big difference in the flash with the case on....

You're right that is a pretty big difference, is anyone else experiencing similar problems? It is starting to seem like almost every case has this problem

every maker will have to redesign the case with bigger opening around the flash.. its a fact
